Volunteers for Civil Division Committee
We are seeking volunteers to serve on the JIE Civil Division Committee. The committee, headed by Eng. David Chung, will undertake a series of projects throughout the year and would like to recruit proactive and dynamic engineers to assist in this effort. Volunteers must be civil engineers and should be prepared to attend monthly committee meetings. The proposed projects are listed below:
Seismic Vulnerability of Kingston

Analysis of low income housing solutions

Construction Industry Development and Building process

KMA Drainage considerations
The Committee will host seminars and luncheons where they will present their proposals and findings from the projects undertaken. These events will be widely publicized facilitating increased awareness of the activities of the Institution.
